After all the blue and green of our last dog outfits, I feel like I want more feminine colors like pink and orange. The last outfits like Blue Fall, Lucky Dog or Camou Fall were really great and perfect for everyday dog life, but now with very masculine colors. Today we want colors for your dog outfit and that’s why today it’s bright and colorful!
Colors for your dog outfit
We love colors, but the colors we like and look good on us don’t necessarily look good on our dog. With a dog, it depends on the color and markings of the coat, what looks particularly good on him, and what looks less harmonious with the coat color. Of course, both dogs and humans can wear what they want. And yet you can judge what you look better or don’t. This usually depends on the colors and the cut. However, you should always try out new things, test them, style them and do what you feel like!
Our dog outfit today is very colorful and summery. The colors are perfect for spring and summer, even if it will still be until then. This outfit puts me in a good mood, as do many people we met on our dog walk. These are not colors that I would wear myself as a dog mom. For me, they would be too colorful and too bright. I think it’s a different story with a dog. They are a bit like children – they can get away with anything fashion-wise, and it still looks cute.
Our entire outfit comes from my dog fashion brand, Momoselle. Momoselle makes small, exclusive collections by hand in Italy. The products are strictly limited; anything that is sold out does not come back into the shop. There are waiting lists for many products, such as dog shirts or our sequined dog harnesses. However, the shop is currently closed and will not reopen until spring.

Our outfit today consists of a dog sweater, dog harness, and a collar and leash. I usually always start with the dog sweater, but today we’re doing something a little different. The dog harness, collar and leash are from the same set, unisex from the Hello Hollywood collection. If you already know us, you know that I don’t usually combine so many pieces from a set in an outfit. I typically find that boring and a bit too simple. Not today, though, because it fits perfectly. The dog sweater is already so colorful and exciting that everything else must be more subtle to harmonize.
The highlight of the outfit is the colorful dog sweater. I knit all of the dogs‘ sweaters using our Cashmere Forever pattern. For this sweater, I chose wool with a colorful gradient, and it turned out simply incredible. If you would like to knit a dog sweater yourself, it’s really easy. Fashion for dogs
I love great dog fashion. Of course, the dog’s well-being comes first, and I would never force my poodle Burberry Balenciaga into anything in the summer. In summer, our dog fashion is limited to a collar, leash, dog harness, and dog bandana. In autumn and winter, it is a different story, as the poodle is one of the dog breeds that has no undercoat. Burberry gets cold quickly, and I don’t want her to feel uncomfortable or sick. So – dog clothes!
Of course, I can now buy a cheap dog jacket in a cheap shop that looks like a garbage bag, but why? My dog can look good, too, can’t he? And high-quality dog fashion not only means good looks but also a better fit so that the dog is not hindered, and these jackets are much warmer or more rain-repellent because high-quality materials are used. Conclusion: Good dog fashion is worth it. And why not use colors for your dog outfit too? That makes everything so much more fun!
