Today I feel like going for a really dark vampire look. What do you say? Let’s create a vamp look for dogs and call it Burgundy Vamp. This dark wine red was the absolute trend color in autumn and I think it’s so beautiful. We’ve already had a few red dog fashion looks like Red Wine Lover or Red Glamour but I just can’t get enough of red at the moment. But I also think it’s the perfect color for every dog, male or female. Red always works!
The dark vamp look for dogs
I love trying out different fashion styles. And my miniature poodle Burberry Balenciaga looks excellent in everything! She is a born dog model! You can admire her photos and videos every day on Instagram, and of course, we are also on TikTok and YouTube. Speaking of YouTube, here you will find dog VLOGS, dog DIYs, and fashion videos of our dog outfits. There is also a video for each dog outfit so you can see our dog styling in action. I always think it’s good to have both, photos and videos. However, our videos are structured so that we usually show several dog outfits in one video. I’ll link you to the video for the dark vamp look for dogs further down in the post!
The complete outfit is by Momoselle. For all new readers, Momoselle is my own dog fashion brand. I started Momoselle in February 2024. We are online every now and then, then sold out and closed. I produce all of Hund’s products in Italy (I am a trained tailor, have further training as a pattern director, and studied fashion design for 3 years in Düsseldorf, Germany). The dog accessories that I make are high quality and strictly limited. Custom orders are also possible, but a constantly growing waiting list exists! The shop is currently closed again because we are currently in Germany and will not be returning to Italy until spring and are planning a few stops at Lake Maggiore and in Milan. As soon as we know when we will be back home, we can continue with Momoselle!
Burgundy Vamp
Let’s get to today’s outfit. I have to say, I would wear this combination myself if I went out for a few cocktails in the evening. I really like the color combination and the dark look. The outfit consists of a dog sweater, dog harness, and collar with a matching leash. In terms of color, we move between dark red, purple and black. It just harmonizes perfectly.
As always, we start with the dog sweater. Here is the Cashmere Forever model knitted with a color gradient wool. The sweater or the entire outfit looks so great because of these colors. That’s because of the wool and especially with such a color gradient wool, you never know what the end result will be. Regarding the dog sweater itself, I have a free dog diy on YouTube where you can knit exactly this sweater. Beginner-friendly, I explain and show you how to do it step by step!
The dog harness comes from the True Monarchy set from the Pretty Rich collection. It is the soft harness in black with black lace with a light glitter and shine. A really great piece, super elegant and luxurious. I combine it very often and that’s saying something because my poodle has a wardrobe that you can only dream of!
The collar and leash are also black, but not normal black, that would be boring. Silver glitter threads are woven into the black fabric so that the leash looks completely different on closer inspection. You can find the collar and leash in the Noir set from the Cést lÁmour collection!
Velvet, lace and sequins for the dog
I love high-quality fabrics and materials. I often like things that don’t exist and start experimenting and making them myself. That’s how it’s always been. That’s why my dog runs around dressed in silk and velvet. I use sequins, lace, and pearls – everything is handmade, and I really spend hours on some pieces. But I enjoyed it, and it was worth it! The photos and videos look great, and I always have something new to show and talk about. You seem to be interested too, otherwise you wouldn’t be here.
