In our outfit today, Camou Fall, we style the camouflage look very discreetly and elegantly. The typical camouflage is usually green, and that’s exactly how we style it today. Green is very familiar to us because our last outfit, Lucky Dog, was also in a great green and green really suits a lot of dogs.
The camouflage look for the dog
Camouflage has always been a very popular look for dogs. It is not going out of fashion but instead comes from hunting, where dogs are also used. Camouflage is not only used to camouflage the dog to act as a hunter/driver, it is also a form of protection. I come from Cologne in Germany, a big city, but I now live in a fairly rural area in Italy. There is still a lot of hunting with dogs here, and that can be dangerous for the dog because there are wild boars, wolves, and, in some areas, even bears!
Our dog camouflage look is not only in different shades of green but also shines and glitters, so it is something very special. I love the camouflage look for my dog, and not just in green; we also have it in gold and silver, one of our favorite pieces. Our outfit: Camou Fall
The outfit consists of a dog sweater, a dog harness, and a collar and leash. Let’s start with the dog sweater in a beautiful dark olive green and the perfect basis for the outfit. We complement the sweater with a golden dog harness from the Royal Pain Set from the Pretty Rich collection. This harness is made of durable denim fabric with golden glitter threads woven in. It is also a soft harness model, which is not only super comfortable for the dog but also particularly safe for car journeys.
The collar and leash come last and, of course, cannot be missing. You have probably already asked yourself where the promised camouflage is – here it is, our camouflage look for the dog! The collar and leash come from the Black Forest Set from the Fake Weed collection. The material has a beautiful, subtle camouflage look with a slight sheen and glitter. This harmonizes perfectly with the golden dog harness. Simply a dream look for the dog!
Everything about Momoselle!
Momoselle is my own dog fashion brand that I mention in every one of my posts because we wear a piece of Momoselle in every outfit. There was no plan to build my brand and make money from it. Since I’m a tailor, I wanted to save money and sew one or two things for my poodle Burberry Balenciaga. So far, so good, I really enjoyed it, and I sewed, knitted, and embroidered a lot. Soon the first inquiries came in about where our dog clothes came from and whether I could make one or two things on request. That’s how Momoselle started.
My little online shop is currently closed because, as you may know, we are in Cologne, Germany over Christmas/New Year. We’re not planning to return to Italy, where our workshop and warehouse are, until spring. Since I don’t have any employees and make and ship everything myself, I can’t open the shop again until I’m on site. I don’t have a date for that, but as soon as that changes I’ll let you know!
